Mindful Monday is a tradition where we take a few minutes to reflect on the week gone by and the one ahead.
Feel free to join in the fun by commenting!
What Are You Grateful for This Week?
- Friendships in bloom: Yesterday I went to Jamie Riddler’s Full Moon Dreamboard circle and all of my Toronto twitter people were there! :) It was so awesome to see all these great ladies again and meet new ones too: Jennie, Tara, Lynn, Anita, and of course Jamie!
- That space between: At the circle, we each got to pick a card and explain why we think we got that card. Mine was “wait” and on the back of the card it said: sometimes the best action is no action at all. This stopped me in my tracks, because I’m very much the go-getter action type. Yet I have been feeling like I’m between things, like I know where I want to go but it’s just not ready for me yet. Now with this “wait” card I think I can stop worrying about making this happen and just wait for them. They’re coming for sure, it’s just a matter of time now.
- Puppies! My boyfriend Robin and I have been talking about getting a dog for awhile. Marie Forleo recently got a puppy (a mighty cute one at that) and it’s been stirring up my ambition for a dog. So I put lots of cute dog pictures on my dreamboard.

My dreamboard for the year ahead.
What Do You Intend For The Coming Week?
- Overhauling: This week I intend to go through the site and my systems with a fine comb and improve the little things that add up to bigger things.
- Wrap up January: There were a lot of little things that I didn’t quite wrap up for January since my friend was visiting. Now is the perfect time to clean up and organize a little.
- Preparing and planning: For my live event happening this Saturday Feb 6th. For the most part it’s ready to go, but I still need to buy the food and get things polished up!
What Are You Delegating?
Jen from Inspired Home Office delegates to God or the Universe, whichever works. I love the concept!
- Finding the remaining 2 right people for my Spread Your Raw Food Wings Event this Saturday February 6th, 2010 in Toronto, Canada.
- Figuring out the details on an upcoming project I want to get involved in.
- Migrating everything over to a new system as smoothly, easily, and quickly as possible.
- Finding the time to do more creative play in the evenings.
- Getting all the little bits and pieces ready for my class this Saturday so that everyone has a great time, learns a lot, and enjoys some delicious food!

I'm grateful for all the wonderful people in my wife. From my wife who helps me edit my blog posts to my son who can make me smile so easily. I'm a lucky man.
This week I'm working on my teleseminar coming up. I've put together a workbook and now I'm refining the parts of the teleseminar so it pops. This work is a gift and I'm so lucky to help people with their careers.
Ooh I'm so excited to hear about your upcoming teleseminar! People really need what you have to offer and I just know it will be a great success! :)
I am honestly so grateful for the responses on my first week of blogging and the warm welcome people gave me. Last week, I also finished writing my Ph.D. thesis (ready to submit) so it has been both busy and exciting.
This week I continue to work on a project I am incredibly excited about. I can hardly sleep (and can't talk about it). Life is good.
Related to the Raw Foods Witch, tomorrow I start with a new habit, a green smoothie every morning. My start to a more healthy life and more energy.
Hi Bart! It sounds like you're on your way to a great start with blogging for sure! And congrats on finishing your Ph.D. thesis that is so huuuge! :)
And woohoo for green smoothies. Let us know how it goes. :)
I'm grateful to the Universe for giving a little nudge to “go for it” when I was having doubts.
Aww! That's so awesome Kerrie! I'm standing by you and I know you can do whatever you put your mind to! :)
I am thankful to have another day with my mother as she battles internal melanoma cancer. She will lose one day, however, for now, I am blessed to have today with her.
That is such a deep and touching message, I am sending you and your mother lots of warmth and love.
Nathalie – The theme from the twilight zone is playing in my head. I had a daydream about how cool it would be to have a live weekend raw food retreat with you. Sounds like the Spread Your Raw Food Wings seminar is a mini manifestation of that. :) Wish I could be there.
P.S. I'm grateful that I have at least 5 people who I can either tweet, email, or even call when I'm feeling stuck-ish. And that getting stuck more often just means I'm learning more, which is exciting too.
I liked your story about getting the WAIT card. Pausing between things is part of it too. So am grateful for the pause…
Hehe that's so funny, I have dreams about internet people all the time! Okay, maybe more than most. ;) So that's really cool! I would love to do more live and in person stuff, and maybe as the biz grows Seattle will be a stop on my raw tour. :)
And yes, I love that about being able to get unstuck. I am grateful for YOU! :)
