Mindful Monday: It’s a New Year Edition

Raw Food Witch Mindful Monday

Hurray! It’s a new tradition here at The Raw Foods Witch. I think it’s important to take time to mindfully review your past week, and choose what you want more of in the coming week.

I’ll be making this an almost weekly ritual, and you’re invited to share what’s up in your life. Or not, it’s entirely up to you.

Things are bound to change from week to week, but I am creating this weekly space to reflect, be grateful, share great resources, and say thank you.

Those of you who are familiar with my Billionaire Woman website may remember Gratitude Mondays, and this is a little more evolved but essentially the same concept.

Let’s get mindful!

Homebound Gratitude

  • I’m grateful for going home: I spent 2 weeks with my family in Quebec, and it was great to see everyone again. Lots of great talks, playing Wii with friends, and visiting my extended family.
  • I’m grateful for being home: It’s good to be back in my own bed, using my vitamix, and at my own desk. I’m more of a homebody than I thought, and living out of a suitcase doesn’t feel natural at this point anymore.
  • I’m grateful for everything running smoothly while I was gone: Thankfully everything continued to work while I was away, with only a few days of work in between.

The First Week of 2010

  • This week I’m ready to wrap up some projects I’ve been working on for awhile. I’m ready to give them the time and attention they need. (And also the love and promotion they need to reach the right people!)
  • This week I’m going to give myself some time to meditate, think, and really figure out what worked in 2009 and what didn’t to plan for 2010 in terms of my business.
  • This week I’m looking to discover new blogs to read and interact with. If you have any recommendations for blogs I might enjoy, or other readers of Raw Foods Witch might enjoy, let me know in the comments.

Over To You…

Alright, now it’s your turn. Take a few minutes to ponder on your past week, and the week ahead. Center in gratitude, and watch what happens!

Love, Nathalie

Nathalie – Today is Chris' birthday and we had the family over for some dessert and presents last night. We also had our first new year's party. Our house seems to like it! I'm very happy with the house and each new thing we put in it is an expression of us both. In the coming weeks I want to continue to have more creativity in my life, with cooking, learning about nutrition, doing more drawing and of course having fun with all these things. I've had a few different teachers show up, and I'm open to their lessons and what they are showing me.

Ooh say happy birthday to Chris for me! :) It sounds like lots of liveliness in your new home, and very lovely too. :) Way to go on your intentions for the next few weeks.

    Nathalie,
I love the idea of mindfulness! It really says to me – reflection is important, and what a wonderful place to do that, here with your encouraging outlook!

This past week I really am thankful for having time together with family. It was great to just have a couple of relaxing days away. As I look ahead I'm excited by all the opportunities that await. Life is filled with so many wonderful people (like YOU!), and having the opportunity to interact is a real blessing.

Nathalie, Happy New Year to you! My hope for you is that this is a year filled with amazing greatness…something that shines in all you do!

good post. Last week was incredible. I was out of town on business meeting the people who introduced me to my home business. I did so many things out of my comfort zone, all of which came out well. I received an adjustment called Atlas Profilax. As a result my posture has improved and I feel solidly grounded. Since I was aware of feeling off center, feeling grounded has made a huge difference for me. It actually helped me speak up and be more present in my life.

As for the coming week, I'm focused on organizing my office space and focusing on my business. I'm going to reach out to more people and tell them about it and invite them to participate.

    to your good health!
