Golden Garlic Salad Dressing

This is my favorite raw salad dressing. I make it often, and it disappears faster than I like to admit. It’s made with all kinds of yummy ingredients, and it goes with almost every salad.

The Ingredients

  • 1 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Raw Honey
  • Diced Ginger to taste
  • Diced Garlic to taste (be generous)

You can make this recipe with or without a blender. I’ve chosen to show the blended version, because it makes the dressing into a beautiful golden color!

Get The Tools You Need

My favorite new tool for the kitchen is the handy garlic press. It takes the ick factor out of dicing garlic and I absolutely couldn’t live without it! You can pick up a garlic presser like I used in the video through Amazon:

Enjoy the Garlic Goodness!

Note: Although I eat garlic on a fairly regular basis, some people may be allergic. Please adjust the dose or replace the garlic with other spices to your liking. Food is our medicine, and garlic truly does act as a medicine sometimes. I’ve been recommended to eat more “hot” foods by a Traditional Chinese Doctor, but your body might require more cold foods instead.

I thought honeywas against Vegan principles.

Nathalie Lussier November 23, 2009 at 6:25 am

You're right Rosemarie, Veganism does not include honey. There are different “camps” and different subsections when it comes to raw food eaters though. Some prefer to eat raw honey rather than processed things like agave or sweeteners. Others are strict vegans. It's all a matter of listening to your own guidance. :)

You're welcome! Thanks for that information, it makes sense to have these foods as a cold/flu remedy since they are very anti-fungal and immunity boosting! :)

hi nathalie!
i made this dressing and i absolutely love it. i've been having it on salads everyday! one question i can't remember if you covered in the video–how long does it keep?

Nathalie Lussier April 12, 2010 at 11:41 pm

Awesome, so glad you like it! It will last for about 4-5 days in the fridge in an airtight container. :) It can start to get “thicker” though, so it depends on your preference. Enjoy!
