It’s time to take a little road trip, and why not make a trip to Canada to the Simply Raw Festival 2010!

But first, it’s story time…

This past week-end I attended the Whole Life Expo here in Toronto, Canada where I met Natasha Kyssa of Simply Raw.

I had reached out to her a few weeks earlier to find out how I could get involved in the Simply Raw Festival that happens in Ottawa, Canada.

It was great to finally meet her in person, and to go over a strategy to help promote the raw lifestyle here in Canada.

So here I am, letting you know about the Simply Raw Festival. Woohoo!

The Simply Raw festival is happening in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on Saturday June 19th, and Sunday June 20th, 2010.

I am personally really excited about this festival, because I’ve been wanting to attend it for a few years now but the timing hadn’t worked out.

And last year the festival didn’t take place, so this year is the year!

More Details About the Raw Festival

The festival is free of charge, and it’s meant to bring in more people who might be curious about raw food or eating healthy.

You’re in for a treat with lots of speakers, great food, and enlightening information.

One of the most talked about events is the pie contest! Imagine lots of delicious raw pies for the eating. See photos from the last pie contest at the festival. Yum-o!
